Snapshot Details
“Snapshots” are brief (500-600 words), focused vignettes of UDL-related work around the world. The snapshot feature was developed to be able to include a broader range of perspectives and contexts in the book.
Note: If accepted as a snapshot, the manuscript would be based on the work described in the submitted chapter proposal.
Snapshot manuscripts should be original, written in English, and use APA style for citations and references and submitted by September 15, 2018. Manuscripts should not have been published in prior texts or journals and should not be currently under consideration elsewhere at the time of submission. This scholarly/professional book has an anticipated audience of teachers (general and special education), university faculty, instructional designers, teacher trainers, educational administrators, and researchers.
Snapshot submissions should follow this structure:

Snapshot authors will also serve as peer reviewers for two or three other snapshot submissions.

- Rationale (connection to inclusive instructional design and/or UDL)
- Highlights (of featured project, concepts, design recommendations, etc.)
